have you ever thought about what protects our hearts?

Is it weird to think that it seems like Thanksgiving happened a month ago but it was only last week? 

Hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving and weekend for those of who you don't celebrate. Mine was great, even if we had to spend about 2 hours in traffic to get to our destination. As I mentioned before we had a lunch, which was more like a lunner since we were in traffic for so long. I ate once, we went home around 8ish, and I knocked out on the drive home. It was a good night overall haha. While everyone was waiting in line for black Friday I was at home asleep! I also had a time mesmerized by my cousin's Louboutin collection! She has so many pairs I wanted to steal them haha! My favorite of the pair is in a photo down below!! 

I actually took an outfit picture for you all it has been years and years since I last posted one. I've had this dress for a while now, since August I believe but never wore it, for who knows what reason. It's from this great vintage store in downtown Fullerton and the name escapes me as I write this, sorry!!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are spending the day with loved ones and of course human's best friend, food! May your day be filled with joy and love! Going to a Thanksgiving lunch at my cousin's house since they are heading out to the outlets in the evening to scope out those Black Friday Deals. Those crazy cousins! No black Friday tonight for me since I'm working 11am-6pm (can you hear me "woo-hoo"ing?)! How about you guys? Anyone braving the cold night and long lines for those deals? If you are what are you getting?

Hope you all also have an infinite list of things you're thankful for this year! Everyone reading this has loads to be thankful for and I know I do too! A few on my lovely list include getting over my cold just in time for thanksgiving!, everyone in my enormous family, the roof over my head, (albeit temporary) job, being able to spend time with my lovely family, clothes, food, car, blogs and blog friends, good books, coffee, living in California, and the list goes on. What are you all thankful for?

Is it really November already?? It must be with all the holiday commercials starting to air. I was watching Ringer the other night and I swear every single commercial break there was a holiday commercial! It's so early and it seems like they start preparing earlier and earlier each year. I'm not ready!!! Seriously though I really should get on top of things. I want to get all my Christmas shopping out of the way as early as possible. I'm starting my list out now. I'm excited for Christmas but I'm not. Does that make sense? I feel like the year went by way to fast.

I apologize again for the lack of posts (which seems like what I say every single time I post something here). I don't have much of a life and I got a job! Finally huh? It's just a seasonal retail thing, but I'll take what I can get! Also my outfits aren't much seeing that I wear all black every day. And it's gotta look professional and there is only so much I can do. The job keeps me busy though and I like it. I hope after my seasonal bit is over they can hire me full time or I can actually find something else more permanent. :crosses fingers: Also my last like two outfit photos my sister took made me look like a serious fatty mcfatterson and I was just not having it. 

I realized I forgot about my October Playlist last month, but I haven't really been listening to anything else but Ra Ra Riot on repeat. There wasn't much of a mix of music during October.  I'll get on top of it for November, I promise!
